Play@SG: 1E Cantonment Road (Pinnacle @ Duxton)

I have visited a fair bit of neighborhood playground in Singapore, but I realize there are very few that is dedicated to toddlers. And I found one at Pinnacle @ Duxton.

Playground for 2 to 5 is hard to come by.

Naturally, the equipments are lower and milder. I shall let the pictures do the talking.

A giraffe slide that has only two steps, so quite safe for toddlers under supervision.
This elephant rocker is protected at the side. Makes it safer for older toddlers.
This will be more fun for the pre-schoolers.
Another rocker. Toddlers can only do just that?
Finally something more exciting. A climbing tunnel.

Yup, that’s all for the playground. Simple? You bet. But kids still love it. My elder two (5yo and 4 yo) have made request to go back when we are in the vicinity. I don’t really get it as I feel they are a little too old for it. But you know they know the best since they are the ones playing. I have brought them to other playgrounds which I think look fun only to have them tell me it’s not. And true enough there isn’t any kids playing there each time we pass by. So I guess it’s better to leave the verdict of a playground to the kids.

I think the boy likes the playground cause he get to hide under it. How many playgrounds now allow you to do that?

So the hunt for playground continues…
